digital archiving researchThe Little 5 Points Business Association seeks to preserve and celebrate the rich history of the Little 5 Points neighborhood through an oral history project. This project aims to document the stories and experiences of former and current business owners, property owners, and local artisans, providing a comprehensive narrative of the neighborhood's evolution. Learners will conduct interviews, gather historical data, and compile these narratives into a cohesive collection. This project will offer students the opportunity to apply their research, interviewing, and storytelling skills, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the cultural and economic dynamics that have shaped Little 5 Points. The goal is to create a resource that can be used by the community and future researchers to appreciate the neighborhood's unique heritage.
- Conduct interviews with former and current business owners, property owners, and local artisans.

The project will culminate in a digital archive and a written report that captures the oral histories and historical research findings. The deliverables will include:

Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
