Details

FSM Inc. is seeking to enhance its data protection measures by revamping an existing API to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This project involves analyzing the current API structure, identifying areas that require modification, and implementing necessary changes to meet GDPR standards. Additionally, FSM Inc. aims to expand its infrastructure by setting up a new server in Europe to host all applications, ensuring data residency and improved performance for European users. The project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of data protection laws, API development, and server deployment. The tasks are closely related and can be completed by a team of learners specializing in computer science or information technology.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a detailed report outlining the modifications made to the API to achieve GDPR compliance, including documentation of the changes and testing results. Additionally, the successful setup and configuration of a new server in Europe, complete with deployment of existing applications, is required. The team will also provide a comprehensive guide on maintaining GDPR compliance and server management. These deliverables will demonstrate the learners' ability to apply technical skills in a real-world scenario.
