As a young company, we are in the early stages of building brand visibility and client loyalty, while also beginning to recruit like-minded stylists to join our team.
The goal of this project is to support the development of strategic marketing initiatives and recruitment efforts that will help us grow our client base and build brand recognition. We want to position Ladori as a desirable salon for both clients and stylists, while laying the groundwork for scalable marketing practices.
This project offers students the opportunity to apply marketing strategy, branding, and campaign planning skills in a real-world setting while making a tangible impact on a mission-driven, growing business.
Key Activities:
Brand Strategy Development
- Refine Ladori’s brand voice and key messaging for marketing and recruitment.
- Propose visual and tonal elements that reflect our values and resonate with our audience.
Client Growth Marketing Plan
- Create a mini campaign strategy aimed at first-time client acquisition and local awareness (e.g., social media ideas, referral initiatives, local outreach).
- Develop sample content templates or mockups (e.g., Instagram post templates, captions, stories/reels prompts).
Recruitment Marketing Strategy
- Draft a campaign to attract stylists aligned with our salon values and culture.
- Create sample job posting language, social media promotion ideas, and a 1-page “Why Work With Us?” handout or PDF concept.
Paid Media Advertising Strategy
- Research and outline a beginner-friendly paid media strategy (Instagram or Google Ads) for either client acquisition or stylist recruitment.
- Include budget suggestions, key targeting parameters, and ad content examples.
Marketing Procurement Research
- Identify affordable and value-aligned platforms or tools for marketing execution (e.g., social media schedulers, Canva templates, branded merchandise sources, etc.).
