Details

The SMART Church Program by TMT Youth Community Foundation aims to revolutionize faith-based spaces by integrating smart technology, media production, financial preparedness, and STEAM education. The initiative seeks to create a sustainable model that empowers churches to prepare youth and families for a digital future, addressing economic and educational disparities. The project involves applied research, communications, business modeling, and digital product development to successfully launch this pilot program. The goal is to develop a comprehensive framework that churches can adopt to enhance their community engagement and educational outreach. By focusing on these key areas, the program intends to bridge the gap between technology and faith-based education, fostering a more inclusive and forward-thinking environment for all participants.

Deliverables

Students will work collaboratively with our team to:

  1. Develop a Launch Strategy for the SMART Church program, focusing on pilot deployment at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.
  2. Conduct Market Research on similar church-based digital education and community tech hubs.
  3. Design Promotional Materials (branding guide, brochures, pitch deck, explainer videos).
  4. Create a Scalable Implementation Toolkit – including templates, pricing models, and onboarding resources for additional churches.
  5. Support Crowdfunding and Grant Research to build funding and referral pipelines.
  6. Recommend Software & App Features for the media center’s community app (e.g., livestream scheduling, STEAM resources, referral tracking).
