Details

Bstellar Group Inc. aims to foster community development by organizing an in-person workshop event series in the Toronto region, specifically targeting women-led nonprofits. The project seeks to empower these organizations by providing participants with a opportunity to network, collaboration, and strengthening their organizations' sustainability by helping them navigate various funding pathways. The primary goal is to create a comprehensive project plan that includes identifying and researching 40 women-led nonprofits, gathering essential information such as their websites, contact details, and charity status. Additionally, the project involves developing outreach strategies and an assessment survey to engage these organizations effectively. To ensure the workshop meets the needs of the participants, an assessment survey will be distributed in advance of the workshop. This project offers learners the opportunity to apply their research, communication, event planning, and organizational skills in a real-world setting, contributing to the empowerment of women-led initiatives.

Deliverables

The project will result in a detailed project plan for the community workshop, including a list of 40 women-led nonprofits with a summary of their vision, programs, ear it was founded, 2- 3 most senior leadership team, the organization's contact information and charity status. Learners will also develop and execute outreach strategies to engage these organizations and identify which ones would be interested in attending the workshop. Additionally, an assessment survey will be created, and distributed to gather feedback from potential participants. These deliverables will provide a solid foundation for the successful execution of the workshop event. This plan, outreach list and distribution of assessment survey would need to be completed by July 31, 2025.
