This project focuses on supporting a targeted portion of our market entry strategy by applying real-world skills in CRM optimization, lead segmentation, and strategic outreach planning.
Learners will play a vital role in helping us identify and organize high-potential contacts across hospitals, clinics, CROs, and health innovation hubs in Ontario. Using spreadsheets and CRM systems, the team will segment leads based on predefined criteria and conduct focused research to support outreach efforts.
This is a high-impact opportunity for students to apply their skills in business development, data analysis, and strategic research, while contributing to a live project in the healthcare tech sector. The scope has been refined to focus on clear, achievable tasks that offer real value to both the students and PharmaServ.
Students will work on discrete, well-defined tasks that contribute to our larger business development goals. Deliverables will include:
- A segmented and prioritized list of leads using CRM and spreadsheet tools, categorized by region, institution type, and role.
- Organization of prospects into the database
- Support for weekly outreach email campaign, including drafting, tracking engagement, and preparing a basic campaign performance summary.
- Recommendations for improving CRM organization and lead tracking based on student observations.
These tasks are structured to be completed independently or in small groups, allowing learners to focus deeply on specific outcomes while gaining experience in market research, CRM management, and business communication.

About the company
PharmaServ is an AI-powered sales enablement platform built for the pharmaceutical industry. We address a core challenge: pharma sales teams struggle to engage prescribers effectively, stay compliant, and convert insights into action across regions and roles. In highly regulated markets like Ontario, outdated tools and siloed data slow down decision-making and reduce conversion rate. PharmaServ solves this by equipping sales leaders, national directors, and field reps with real-time, compliant insights through customizable dashboards. Our platform speaks to all stakeholder levels—from municipal health teams to national pharma leaders—ensuring smarter, faster, and purpose-driven sales execution.
