Details

Pronto Mobile is a U.S. mobile service startup currently in alpha and quickly moving toward public launch. Our value proposition is unique and powerful: we offer access to all major nationwide networks for the price of one—and seamlessly switch customers to the best available connection in real time. The result? Dramatically fewer dropped or garbled calls, unsent messages, and unstable data connections that cost time and money. With Pronto, on-the-go small business professionals who can’t afford hit-or-miss mobile connectivity—like sales, trades, and IT workers—stay connected and stay ahead.

We’re looking for a small team of curious, strategic, and creative students to help build out our marketing strategy—and bring it to life.

The goal of this project is to develop a digital marketing launch strategy and supporting execution deliverables, aligned to Pronto’s brand objectives and research-informed target audiences, for social media—encompassing organic content, paid social advertising, and influencer collaborations.

Students will be quickly brought up to speed on the business, its research insights, and its high-level go-to-market strategy, and then apply their knowledge of digital marketing platforms, audience engagement, and consumer behavior to develop a cohesive plan that drives awareness, builds trust, and converts early users. The project includes analyzing current market trends and competitive insights to develop recommendations on messaging, creative formats, audience targeting, platform selection, budget, and performance metrics. The ideal outcome: a clear, actionable roadmap for Pronto Mobile’s digital launch—ready to test, learn, and scale.

The project is designed for a team of marketing students who will work collaboratively to produce a strategic plan that is both innovative and practical.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include:

  • Summary of relevant social trends and a deep dive into select competitor activity to inform and differentiate Pronto Mobile's strategy.
  • A cohesive digital launch plan outlining recommended platforms, goals, KPIs, and tactics, with supporting rationale.
  • The organic plan will include a recommended content mix and cadence, a sample content calendar, articulate engagement tactics, and a sample creative toolkit.
  • The paid social plan will include recommended targeting criteria, budget forecast, ad formats, and sample creative for paid campaigns.
  • The influencer plan will include criteria for influencer selection, shortlist of potential partners, sample briefs, and a proposed engagement structure.
  • Each area should include KPIs and a framework for analyzing and iterating on campaign performance.

For greater student learning and utility for Pronto, work will be completed and shared iteratively.
