Training Needs Analysis for JF&CS

Jewish Family and Child Service (JF&CS) is seeking to enhance its staff development by identifying specific training needs and gaps across all departments. The primary goal of this project is to perform a thorough needs analysis that evaluates training requirements related to social work, back-office operations, and administrative functions. By conducting this analysis, the team will gather valuable insights that will help pinpoint learning gaps and facilitate targeted resource allocation. This project will enable JF&CS to develop a more effective training program, ensuring that all staff members are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their roles efficiently. The project involves data collection through surveys, interviews, and reviewing existing training materials.

Paid Internship: Collaborate with HR on Onboarding Video & Brochure Projects

The main goal of this project is to create an engaging and informative onboarding welcome video for new staff members joining Jewish Family and Child Service (JF&CS). This video will serve as a key component of the organization's onboarding process, aiming to:Welcome New Staff Members: The video will provide new employees with a warm welcome to the organization, helping them feel valued and appreciated from the moment they join.Introduce the Organization: By showcasing the history, mission, and values of JF&CS, the video will help new staff members develop a deeper understanding of the organization and its impact on the community.Highlight Departmental Contributions: The video will feature insights from select managers, highlighting the contributions of different departments and programs within the organization. This will help new staff members understand how their role fits into the broader context of JF&CS's work.Promote Employee Integration: By emphasizing the importance of each employee's role and showcasing how they contribute to shared goals, the video will promote a sense of belonging and teamwork among new staff members.Encourage Engagement and Commitment: Through its focus on teamwork, diversity, and making a difference in people's lives, the video will inspire new staff members to fully engage with the organization's mission and commit to its goals.Overall, the goal of the project is to create a welcoming and informative onboarding experience that empowers new staff members to become active and engaged members of the JF&CS community from day one.The internship will pay $18.00 per hour, with a projected start date in June 2024, and an estimated duration of approximately 8 weeks.

Social & Web Analytics Project

In this project, you will be asked to review, research and make recommendations to increase engagement on JF&CS’s social media accounts, in terms of increasing followers, community engagement and brand credibility. You will be asked to conduct a Web/Social Media Evaluation and provide recommendations.

Law Clerk Placement

The main goal of the project would be to review and close files in preparation for scanning. The project could also include assisting the law clerk with their duties, such as serving and filing court documents, preparing court orders, etc.
