Student Progress and Funding Visualization Project

The Estes Park Learning Place aims to analyze and visualize a year's worth of data on student improvement in reading and math, collected from fall 2023 through fall 2024. The project involves compiling data from initial and follow-up reading assessments, as well as GED exam scores, to evaluate student progress. Additionally, the project will incorporate data on donors, grants, and funding to provide a comprehensive overview of the center's impact and financial support. The goal is to create an engaging and informative infographic that effectively communicates this data to stakeholders, including educators, donors, and the community. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their skills in data analysis, visualization, and graphic design, while gaining insights into educational outcomes and nonprofit funding.

IT Support Services

The main goal of the IT Support Services project is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT support services through the implementation of innovative solutions and streamlined processes. This includes addressing hardware and entry-level network issues, managing new employee onboarding processes, and administering account access, permissions, and Active Directory.

Digital Content Creation

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. Social Media Outreach, Branding and Fundraising. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. A student or team with excellent writing and video skills would be the ideal candidate for this project.

Non-Profit Grant Writing for Tutoring Center

We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that support our mission and vision statement. We believe this project will include: Assist with defining a company-identified community problem and defining the scope of a corresponding project. Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding. Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project. Interpret a request for proposal (RFP). Research, plan, write, edit, and revise a persuasive proposal narrative. Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.
