Project Goal:

To revitalize ENW’s social media strategy by building an organized and professional presence that reflects its mission and engages the community regularly and meaningfully.


Main Objective

To increase Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch’s (ENW) online visibility and public engagement through a consistent, mission-aligned, and visually appealing social media presence. This includes the development of a strategic content calendar, branded assets, and performance tracking tools.


Tasks & Activities Learners Will Engage In:

  • Conducting a social media audit of current ENW platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Identifying gaps in consistency, content types, frequency, and branding
  • Creating a 3-month content calendar aligned with ENW’s campaigns and seasonal events
  • Designing branded templates for post types (e.g., awareness, events, safety tips)
  • Writing engaging captions for various post formats
  • Developing a performance tracker to assess engagement and growth


Deliverables
  • A 3-Month Social Media Content Calendar, including campaign themes, post schedules, and suggested formats
  • Branded Templates for posts and stories (compatible with Canva) to ensure consistency across platforms
  • 10–15 Pre-designed Posts with polished captions for immediate use or scheduling
  • A customizable Social Media Performance Tracker (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets format) for ENW to measure and analyze follower growth, engagement rates, and campaign performance over time
