Mapping External Platform APIs to Unified Winery Intelligence Model for CorkVision

CorkVision is an AI-powered platform for wineries that integrates with existing operational, marketing, compliance, and shipping systems to centralize data and generate actionable insights. We are seeking student support to research and document the data schemas, authentication methods, endpoints, and transformation logic required to harmonize data from third-party platforms like MailChimp, ConstantContact, Klaviyo, RedChirp, UPS, FedEx, and Avalara into our unified data model. This is a continuation of our successful mapping work with Commerce7, WineDirect, and Shopify. Primary Deliverables: A source-to-target data mapping document for each platform (MailChimp, ConstantContact, RedChirp, FedEx, UPS, Avalara). Documentation of each platform’s API structure, including endpoints, rate limits, pagination, authentication, and common response schemas. Suggested transformation logic (e.g., enum normalization, timestamp conversion). Identification of primary keys and relationship modeling (e.g., linking campaigns to customers or tracking numbers to shipments). Identification of any data fields critical for AI analysis or business reporting. Risk and limitation notes for each platform’s integration constraints (e.g., webhook limitations, lack of historical data access). Ideal Student Background: Data science, information systems, computer science, or business technology Experience or coursework in API integration, data modeling, or business intelligence Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON data formats Comfort working with documentation (e.g., Swagger, Postman, or direct API specs)
