Virtual Reality Healthcare Conference Companion App
The International Virtual Reality Healthcare Association (IVRHA) seeks to enhance the conference experience for attendees by developing a mobile application. This project involves creating a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and a product development framework for a conference attendee app. The app will allow users to view the conference agenda and facilitate networking with other colleagues. The goal is to provide a seamless and interactive experience that leverages the latest in mobile technology, making it easier for attendees to plan their schedules and connect with peers. The project will require students to apply their knowledge of mobile app development, user interface design, and networking functionalities. The app should be intuitive, user-friendly, and capable of handling real-time updates and interactions.

Research report on cybersecurity issues around virtual reality and healthcare
We are looking to have students develop a whitepaper focused on the cybersecurity issues around virtual reality and healthcare. If the first half of the paper could be focused describing the existing and potential threats, and then the second half of the paper on potential solutions. Project tasks may include but are not limited to: Research into cybersecurity issues around virtual reality and healthcare Identifying existing and potential threats Formulate potential solutions Transforming research into a whitepaper

Exploration of Regulatory Issues for a VR Healthcare Medical Device
We represent over 100 organizations within IVRHA (International Virtual Reality and Healthcare Organization). All of them are at very different stages with their projects, but we have a handful that are exploring the regulatory issues and hurdles they'll need to overcome to submit their product for review and approval by the FDA. Working together, and selecting a particular organization and project, we can quickly define the scope of research work based on the student project goals, and the need of the organization at the time of the project.

Virtual Reality and Healthcare Game Prototype Development
We have a number of member organizations that are at various stages in the development of games focused within the virtual reality and healthcare sector. The project and game can vary greatly depending on the organization's product and healthcare focus. Each individual project will be defined based on the organization's current needs/requirements with the possibility of tailoring it to the individual student's/team's expertise and learning objectives.
