The student team will be asked to:
- Evaluate current B2B marketing efforts and assets (packaging, messaging, outreach)
- Conduct industry-specific research to identify the priorities, objections, and decision drivers of each target segment
- Recommend improvements to Maverik’s B2B value proposition and positioning
- Propose marketing tactics and communication tools that can improve outreach, lead generation, and conversion in key sectors
B2B Marketing Strategy Report: A comprehensive plan with recommendations for improving Maverik’s positioning, messaging, and outreach to retail and commercial buyers.
Value Proposition Development: Refined value statements and positioning tailored to target B2B segments (grocery, janitorial, etc.).
Customer Segment Insights: A breakdown of sales opportunities by customer type, with strategic recommendations for prioritization.
Current Practice Review: An analysis of existing B2B marketing and customer management practices with improvement suggestions.
Final Presentation: A summary of key insights and proposed strategies presented to Maverik’s leadership team.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
Providing access to necessary tools, software, and resources required for project completion.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
