Details

D & S Horse Rescue and Ranch (non-profit) aims to elevate its digital footprint by revamping its current website to enhance user experience and accessibility. The existing website requires a thorough analysis to identify areas needing improvement, such as navigation, visual appeal, and content accessibility. The project will focus on aligning the website's design with the organization's mission and values, ensuring that visitors can easily connect with the staff and access resources. The redesign will involve creating a more intuitive interface that simplifies user interaction and enhances the overall aesthetic of the site. This initiative provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of web design and user experience principles in a real-world setting, ultimately contributing to the organization's outreach and engagement efforts.

Deliverables

Interns are expected to a business landscape . Be expected to contribute meaningfully, even within short timeframes. This can translate to assisting with stakeholder analysis, identifying potential risk management strategies, and supporting project planning initiatives. While expecting them to independently generate comprehensive financial breakdowns or multi-year business plans (3, 5, 7, and 10 years) might be unrealistic, they should be eager to learn and contribute to these areas, demonstrating an understanding of their importance to overall business success. Exposure to these processes, even in a supporting role, provides invaluable experience.

Also, learn and have ability to study/start the 501 C(3) Process. (A must to learn when working with most non-profits)
