Learners in this Writing-Intensive Caribbean history course are trained in historical research methods, critical source evaluation, structured academic writing, and evidence-based argumentation. Learners will work in teams of 4–5 learners (approximately 4–5 teams total). Each team will either: Develop independent solutions to the same organizational challenge, or Address clearly defined components of a larger project (as agreed during matching). The active project period runs for approximately 8 weeks (March–May) , with an expected commitment of 8-18 hours per learner across the experience. Learners explicitly practice documenting AI use, evaluating AI-generated outputs, maintaining authorship, and ensuring accountability.
