Market and opportunity Strategy Development (Health-tech)
Ebenezer Solution Inc. seeks to prepare MedUnity for a successful pilot deployment and investor engagement by developing a strategic framework tailored for early-phase digital health startups in Canada. The project aims to craft a comprehensive market expansion strategy by analyzing and segmenting potential early adopters such as clinics, hospitals, and telehealth providers across Ontario. It also involves mapping a go-to-market strategy that aligns with both public sector entities like OHIP and private clinics. Additionally, the project may focus on optimizing business processes by reviewing internal workflows and recommending scalable operations. Financial analysis will be conducted to develop a cost model and pricing strategy, with recommendations for sustainability and alignment with grant and investment targets. An optional component includes evaluating the digital marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility and trust among stakeholders. We would like the student group to: Market Expansion Strategy Analyze and segment potential early adopters (clinics, hospitals, telehealth providers) across Ontario. Map out a go-to-market strategy that balances public sector alignment (e.g., OHIP, OHTs) with private clinic adoption. Conduct a light-weight competitor and adjacent-space audit (e.g., EMRs, Telus Health, PocketHealth, etc.). Financial & Profitability Analysis Develop a cost model and pricing strategy for B2B (clinics, hospitals) and B2G (government partners). Recommend adjustments to improve sustainability and fit with grant/investment targets. Propose a lean financial model for pilot vs. national rollout. Digital Marketing Strategy (Optional Add-On) Evaluate our early brand footprint and help us articulate a trust-centric digital brand to appeal to stakeholders (patients, providers, gov). Outline how to build visibility in a “boring but critical” sector like infrastructure for digital health. Main Objective We want to use this experience to: Sharpen our go-to-market strategy for Ontario pilot rollout Optimize our internal operations before scale Build confidence in our financial model for grant/funding applications Strengthen our strategic positioning to speak clearly to investors and regulators
Next-Gen Data Access & Consent Infrastructure
About Us: We're a fast-growing Canadian tech company building a groundbreaking decentralized data access infrastructure. Our focus is to ensure users regain control of their digital data in high-impact sectors where privacy, consent, and reliability matter the most. We are now onboarding bright, passionate interns to co-build a secure, transparent, and innovative system that respects data ownership and unlocks its future potential. Project Location: Remote or Hybrid (Canada-based preferred) Ideal Backgrounds: Tech-savvy thinkers, product strategists, AI/blockchain enthusiasts, data policy wonks, creative problem solvers The Vision We are developing a secure, tokenizable platform for confidential data contribution, traceable access management, and user-controlled sharing . It enables two distinct contributor groups— authorized associates (Group 1) and community-based contributors (Group 2)—to manage and interact with consumer data while maintaining full consumer ownership and consent. Our future roadmap includes: AI-enhanced data insights Audit-layer enforcement User-governed monetization mechanisms A modular, interoperable tech stack Emergency-only override protocols with post-access accountability PROJECT CONTEXT In today's digital landscape, consumers increasingly share data with service providers—yet they lack real control over that data. Our project aims to change that by designing a system where: Data can be contributed by verified users (Group 1: trusted associates) or general contributors (Group 2: community/consumer devices). Consumers retain full read-access and can consent to share or revoke access. All data interaction is recorded on a tamper-proof system with emergency overrides governed by policy and audit. In future phases, consented data can be shared with research entities for ethical use and monetization. This internship focuses on the earliest strategic phase: architecture planning and policy modeling. INTERN GOAL Help us design and validate a modular system framework to support secure, controlled data contribution and sharing by multiple user groups under strict access policies. You will not build the software, but you will help shape what needs to be built. What You’ll Work On You’ll work on the ideation and design of a system framework that allows data contributed by different types of users to be securely stored, access-controlled, and transparently governed. Project Scope You will focus on designing the logic and technical structure for a role-based data contribution and access platform. The system must support: Group 1 (trusted associates) who can contribute and update core consumer data Group 2 (community contributors) who can add additional data tagged separately Consumers (end users) who can view their data and give/revoke consent for read access Emergency access protocols with full audit trails Optional: a rewards mechanism where consumers can consent to share data in exchange for tokens WHAT YOU’LL LEARN Designing secure, multi-role digital systems Real-world applications of Web3 and consent-based data sharing Creating policy-aware architecture and governance rules How AI and blockchain can be used ethically in personal data systems Communicating innovation to technical and non-technical audiences WHO SHOULD APPLY Computer Science / Information Systems / Data Science students Those interested in ethical data systems, blockchain, or digital identity Students with a passion for innovation and structure Learners who enjoy solving open-ended, real-world problems within scope PROJECT CONFIDENTIALITY This is a pre-launch, early-phase platform. Interns will sign a standard NDA and all work will be credited in future documentation (unless anonymity is requested). TO APPLY Send your resume and a short paragraph describing your interest in systems thinking, product strategy, or secure data innovation. You can also include any past course project or design document you've worked on that aligns with this scope.
Decentralized Data Sharing Blueprint
Ebenezer Solution Inc. is embarking on a transformative project aimed at addressing the global issue of data silos, where critical data remains fragmented and underutilized. The goal is to explore how blockchain technology can enable secure, consent-driven, and interoperable data-sharing across independent systems. This project will focus on imagining and designing a sector-agnostic infrastructure prototype that leverages blockchain to empower users with control over their data.
