The JW Collective seeks to enhance its website, internal workflows, and client onboarding process to improve overall efficiency and integrate AI-driven automations. This project invites students to apply their knowledge in web development, process analysis, and user experience design to identify pain points and recommend practical, scalable solutions.

Students will evaluate the current website for usability issues, analyze internal workflows for inefficiencies, and assess the client onboarding experience for areas of improvement. They will also have the opportunity to assist with similar tasks for new clients, gaining deeper insight into digital marketing operations. By the end of the project, students will have contributed to creating a more streamlined, client-friendly, and growth-ready environment for The JW Collective.

Deliverables

Project Outcomes:

  • Gain hands-on experience in process analysis, UX auditing, and workflow design
  • Develop a stronger understanding of client onboarding systems and digital service delivery
  • Learn to identify inefficiencies in business systems and propose AI-supported automation solutions

Website UX Audit Report

  • Evaluation of current site design, usability, content flow, and recommendations for improvements

Workflow Map & Analysis

  • Visual maps and written assessments of internal processes (e.g. proposals, project tracking, client communication)
  • Identification of inefficiencies or manual steps that could benefit from automation

Improved Client Onboarding Framework

  • Redesigned onboarding steps, including updated intake forms, welcome packets, templates, and timelines
  • Suggestions for tools/platforms to improve onboarding flow (e.g. CRMs, automations, scheduling systems)

AI Integration Recommendations

  • Practical suggestions for AI tools or automations to streamline repetitive tasks or enhance client communication

Final Summary Report or Presentation

  • Clear overview of findings, proposed improvements, and implementation roadmap
