Details

The goal of this project is to enhance and complete the development of a modular Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system tailored for small to medium-sized enterprises. Currently, the frontend is approximately 60% complete, utilizing modern web technologies such as React and Tailwind. The backend is being developed using Xano, a no-code platform, to manage APIs and business logic. Students will focus on implementing backend workflows for key ERP modules, ensuring seamless integration between the frontend and backend. They will also align the database schema with the frontend layout to ensure consistency and functionality. This project provides an opportunity for students to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting, focusing on business logic creation, API integration, and database-driven development.

Deliverables

Students are expected to deliver four functional ERP modules, such as Invoicing, Customer Management, Budgeting, and Reporting, based on the existing frontend and database schema. They will create a schema mapping document to align frontend layouts with backend structures. Additionally, students will record a walkthrough video of a critical backend process, explaining the logic and workflow. Finally, they will ensure effective API integration for real-time data updates between the frontend and backend.
