Details

The purpose of this project is to optimize our sales process to improve return on investment (ROI) and enhance overall operations. Students will assess our current sales strategies, identify bottlenecks, and create targeted outreach methods to increase ticket sales. 


Key steps include:

  • Evaluating the current sales process by consulting with potential users and reviewing existing Hidden Gemz frameworks.
  • Researching best practices in industry sales processes, lead generation strategies, and effective outreach methods.
  • Recommending strategic outreach methods to increase ticket sales, which may include ads, social media campaigns, digital boards at events, and other promotional activities.
  • Documenting all strategies and sales processes to provide a clear framework for implementation and future improvements.


Deliverables

Students will complete the Digital Transformation Management (DTM) program founded by Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business to help them with their project. Some of the tasks learners will need to complete to achieve the project goals may include:


  • Develop a value proposition statement for the organization/unit 
  • Create a process map and a customer journey/empathy map 
  • Explore technology options (e.g., application integration, customer experience)  
  • Identify KPIs for the process and create options for improvement 
  • Analyze the options using a decision matrix and recommend change
  • Create a draft project plan  
  • Identify bottlenecks and possible mitigation strategies for the project proposal

This approach not only promotes social interaction and city exploration but also drives revenue to local businesses. Each participating business receives a portion of the ticket sales directly when someone visits with a ticket. Hidden Gemz actively markets these bookable experiences to attract new customers, enhancing the visibility and appeal of local spots.
