Details

The Adaptive Human under the name Sensory Aide aims to develop a user-friendly platform that enhances the experience of both mental health practitioners and clients with children with special needs. The project seeks to understand the unique challenges faced by therapists working with online companies. By gathering insights from these professionals, the goal is to design a platform that not only facilitates effective therapy sessions but also ensures clients have easy access to essential mental health resources. The project will involve researching existing online therapy platforms, identifying gaps in service delivery, getting feedback from mental health practitioners and proposing innovative solutions that address these gaps. The focus will be on creating a seamless, efficient, and supportive environment for both therapists and clients, ultimately improving the quality of online mental health care.

Deliverables

The project will deliver a comprehensive report detailing the findings from interviews and research on current online therapy platforms. Additionally, guidelines for a prototype design of the proposed platform will be created, highlighting key features that address identified challenges. The team will also provide a presentation summarizing the research insights and proposed solutions, aimed at enhancing the online therapy experience for all users.
