This is a Canadian start-up not-for-profit that helps women with any of a number of chronic health conditions (high blood pressure/ cholesterol, weight issues, pre- and type 2 diabetes, PCOS, menopausal symptoms, Hashimoto's and other autoimmune diseases, and many other chronic health concerns) who want to reverse, suspend, and prevent disease, primarily by using the healing power of plant-based nutrition.
Dr. Vivian Polak coaches the clients and offers courses and a women's community for on-going expert guidance and support. It has been enormously helpful to have a few people volunteer from time to time to help get the message and assistance out to the public - with video editing, marketing, website design, other IT support, etc.

Grant Writing Project for Benessere North (a not-for-profit)
The main goal for the project is to research and apply for grants to support the non-profit organization, Benessere North, in its mission to help women struggling with high blood pressure, weight issues, and chronic health concerns. The project will involve the following tasks for the learners: - Researching available grants and funding opportunities for non-profit organizations focused on women's health and chronic disease prevention. - Developing grant proposals and applications tailored to the specific needs and goals of Benessere North. - Collaborating with Dr. Vivian Polak to understand the organization's vision and effectively communicate it in grant applications. - Assisting in the preparation of necessary documentation and materials required for grant submissions. - Tracking and managing the grant application process, including deadlines and requirements for each funding opportunity.
Empowering Women's Health: Social Media Campaign Development
Benessere North, a Canadian nonprofit organisation, is committed to combating chronic diseases in women globally, with plant-based nutrition. The organisation seeks to enhance its outreach and engagement through a targeted social media campaign. This project involves developing a series of engaging social media reels/shorts and posts aimed at attracting new leads to join the Women's Health Hub Community membership. Students will have the opportunity to apply their digital marketing, social media management, and branding skills. They will conduct research on current best practices in social media engagement, develop and refine scripts for video content, and edit videos to align with Benessere North's mission. The final step will involve scheduling the content for release using VistaSocial, ensuring a strategic and impactful online presence.
Email Marketing for Benessere North
The main goal for the project is to create an effective email marketing strategy to generate more sales from the leads for Benessere North, a non-profit that helps women transform their health and well-being by transitioning their nutrition to whole plant foods. This will involve creating regular emails to be sent to the company's email list.
Email Marketing Project to Help Women Switch to Plant-Based eating for Best Health
The main goal for the project for this not-for-profit organisation is to build automated email marketing - using high-value emails that then lead the women with high blood pressure and weight issues (and other chronic diseases) to the paid Women's Health Hub Community membership. This will involve editing an already-existing free educational email course (which currently has no pitch but is just a helpful course), creating or suggesting the creation of other free offerings, and possibly also editing a digital 5-module course to help women get started eating this way. The students will be required to add/edit a "non-salesy", highly ethical pitch that will lead those appropriate for it to purchase the membership for on-going expert guidance and support in a community of women worldwide.
