Details

This project involves the creation of a short motion picture film titled "The Acorn Chronicles," which aims to explore the journey of a small acorn as it transforms into a mighty oak tree. The goal is to provide learners with a hands-on experience in film production, from pre-production planning to post-production editing. Students will apply their classroom knowledge of film studies, cinematography, and storytelling to create a compelling narrative. The project will focus on developing skills in scriptwriting, directing, filming, and editing, all within a collaborative team environment. The challenge is to produce a high-quality short film that effectively conveys the intended message and engages the audience. The project will also emphasize the importance of teamwork, time management, and creative problem-solving in the filmmaking process.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a completed short film of approximately 5-10 minutes in length, a detailed script, and a storyboard outlining the film's scenes. Additionally, students will provide a production journal documenting their process and reflections. The final deliverable will be a presentation showcasing the film and discussing the creative and technical aspects of the production.
