Details

The Woundscan AI Documentation & Transcription Dashboard project aims to enhance the efficiency of wound care management by developing a web application tailored for clinicians. The primary goal is to create a user-friendly dashboard that integrates AI-powered documentation features and a voice transcription service, allowing clinicians to dictate notes seamlessly. This application will sync with Altvis, Inc.'s existing AWS backend, ensuring data security and reliability. By providing a streamlined desktop experience, the project addresses the need for efficient documentation and transcription in clinical settings, reducing manual entry errors and saving time for healthcare professionals. The project will focus on creating a secure, intuitive interface that meets the specific needs of wound care specialists.

The main objective of this project is to build and deploy the Woundscan web application, a secure and intuitive dashboard designed for clinicians. This project expands on our mobile-first MVP by creating a powerful desktop experience for reviewing wound data and streamlining documentation. The primary goals are to develop an AI-powered documentation feature that auto-populates clinical notes and to implement an innovative AI voice transcription service, allowing clinicians to dictate notes seamlessly. This application will sync with our AWS backend, ensuring data security and reliability while addressing the critical need for efficient documentation in clinical settings, ultimately reducing manual entry and saving valuable time for healthcare professionals.

Deliverables

The project will deliver a fully functional web application with the following features: an AI-powered documentation tool, a voice transcription service, and seamless integration with an AWS backend. The application will include a secure login system and a user-friendly interface tailored for desktop use. Additionally, comprehensive documentation and a user guide will be provided to ensure easy adoption by clinicians.

AI Documentation Feature: A working module where users can select documentation templates that are auto-populated with patient and wound measurement data from the backend.

AI Voice Transcription Service: A functional feature that allows users to dictate clinical notes, which are then accurately transcribed and placed into the documentation editor.

User-Friendly UI/UX: High-fidelity, implemented front-end design based on our mockups and brand guidelines, ensuring an intuitive user experience for clinicians.

Source Code & Documentation: Well-documented front-end and back-end source code for the web application, including setup and deployment instructions.
