The Stone Path Project (SPP) app is a free mobile platform designed to empower high school students (grades 9-12) to navigate academic, social, and personal challenges. Parents, teachers, tutors, trainers, and support professionals form a collaborative ecosystem to bolster student success. Features include task management, career planning, mental health resources, group collaboration, location tracking, webinars, and a chore/allowance system. Built with low-code/no-code tools (e.g., Lovable, Replit), Firebase backend, Google Maps API, and Jitsi Meet for video conferencing, it ensures accessibility and privacy.
Students will develop a cross-platform app (iOS, Android, web) using low-code tools, Firebase, and APIs (Google Maps, Jitsi Meet), gaining skills in UI/UX design, real-time databases, and secure development. Weekly meetings (1 hour, via Zoom or Google Meet) with a technical mentor will provide guidance. Students will use Discord for ongoing communication, ensuring self-managed progress with mentor support for milestones. The project offers hands-on experience in agile development and impactful software solutions.
